Julissa Mora Illustration
Julissa was born and raised in Miami Florida in a typical Cuban household. As a child, she spent her days playing house, riding bike, skating, and just being a kid with her sister and neighborhood friends. That is where most of her inspiration comes from today. As a young girl, art was always a big part of her life, so her decision to study illustration was to be expected. She received her BFA from Ringling College of Art and Design. After graduation, she pursued her career in illustration, but also worked as a graphic designer for many years. In 2009, she began her transition into the wonderful world of freelance illustration.
Julissa lives and works out of her home studio in a quaint historic neighborhood of Brooklyn, where she finds inspiration on a daily bases.
