"In the skin of Chamangá"
Chamangá is an area of 29,600 acres located in Flores, Uruguay, which in addition to fertile grassland and native forest, contains prehistoric paintings on stones (pictographs).
In that area anthropology and art are closely related, they account for the cultural unity expressed by art as a human phenomenon. Hogue is a native from this place, and from that sence of belonging, he can make an artistic reinterpretation giving life to those stone, making the entrails of the earth speak.
