illustration of I always liked the idea that ideas can occupy an ecosystem within an artist's brain. And similar to a real ecosystem, there are predators and prey. Some ideas may die so that others can live.

illustration of You may have seen a similar scene in some cartoons. A house or castle where it's always night. I tried to encapsulate that feeling, and add that perhaps the dark isn't as bad as it first appears, nor the light as good. Mixed media on paper.

illustration of As we move to the future through technological advancement, I've noticed that life and technology are moving closer and closer. I tried to create an amalgam of something mechanical, a wind-up toy, and a creepy semblance of life in the hydra's 8 heads. Mixed media on paper.
