Rick Nease is currently a national award-winning illustrator/designer/graphic artist. For over 27 years, Rick has worked as an artist in the newspaper industry, first with The Toledo Blade for 10 years and then for 19 years at the Detroit Free Press as Art Director. Along the way, Rick has designed all manner of print and web projects for freelance clients across the nation. From CD and promotional art for recording artists to editorial publications. Known for his conceptually creative and diverse styles, Rick is often tapped for large display illustrations and portraits. Rick’s work has also appeared in newspapers and magazines across the country including The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, Time, Entertainment Weekly, and Crains.
