Robert Zammarchi is an illustrator combining digital drawing with photomontage techniques. While developing and interpreting concepts for a wide array of national publications and media companies over the years, Rob has earned a New England Newspaper and Press Association Silver medal award, among other accolades for his illustration. In the commercial sector, my work has found its place in a wealth of national magazines from Mother Jones to Business Week, in advertisements commissioned by Arnold World Wide, TBWA Chiat Day and Hill Holiday for such companies as Quaker Oats, Massachusetts State Lottery and Continental Airlines. Highlights have included being published in programs for Major League Baseball Championships and The Playboy Jazz Festival. In the educational field, I have been fortunate to see my art in publications for Scholastic, Harcourt and Disney, as well as toy development projects for Hasbro. My art has been animated for HBO, the World Wildlife Fund and Nickelodeon for which I received a Broadcast Designer's Gold award. Locally, I remained a regular contributor to alt-press maverick, The Boston Phoenix since 1993 until its demise in 2013.
