David de Ramón is a highly talented Illustrator based in Madrid. His early interest for drawing and illustration brought him to different studies, first different disciplines, such as design, drawing, painting…, then he found his place studying painting in a more traditional background. His interest for learning and stimulating his imagination and possibilities is neverending: he saves part of his income for regularly buying illustration books for years. Although David de Ramon started hand-drawing, the appearance of digital meant a significant revolution into his creative process. Most of his work is born and developed in his computer with impressive results. His executions have this retro touch that make them look attractive and define David as a contemporary classical illustrator. His painting roots become obvious in his style, both in composition and in the thorough usage of colours. In David’s own opinión, his great success consists of having managed to turn his passion into his way to make a living. His ilustrations have been published in numerous magazines, such as Siete Leguas, QUO, El País, FOCUS Magazine, Training & Development Digest, El Economista, La Revista, Cuaderno de Estilo, GQ… Clients: American Express, Ars Café, Canal +, CCOO, DYC, Eroski, Macedonia Fruit Company, Mahou, ONCE, Da Nicola Restaurant, Sogecable...
