Profile

Dani Blázquez just started into the illustrative scene, as it’s in 2013 when this boy from Salamanca began his career as a freelance ilustrator , finishing, just one year before, his illustration studies at the EAO in Oviedo. Despite this he has been involved on international projects in countries like Germany or Canada. He combines this commissions with exhibitions in the USA, for galleries like Bottleneck Gallery in Brooklyn or the Hero Complex Gallery in Los Angeles. His work has been featured on important blogs from the sector, like Abduzeedo or From Up North among others, also in books such as “Alternative Movie Posters: Film Art from the Underground” along with artists from all around the world. His main references are anything related with the aesthetics and the graphic style of the 80’s/90 ‘s, with its popular icons, specially from the film industry.
