Amarins de Jong works as a freelance illustrator in Berlin. She combines traditional and digital media to create her bold, colorful illustrations in her unique, personal style. She works with you by asking the right questions, distilling your story’s essence in a striking illustration. Her dream project would be illustrating a book about creation myths from all over the world. Amarins studied at the Willem de Kooning Academy (Academy of Fine Arts and Design) in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. After applying her creative skills as an Interior architect, she decided to shift her focus to illustration, her true passion As an illustrator she gained experience in the beauty industry, where she, as part of a creative team, worked on various campaigns creating hand-drawn illustrations for packaging design, advertising and a magazine. She’s worked for clients such as Glossybox, Capital One and VT-Wonen Magazine. Her personal artwork was exhibited at several locations, including the Neon Chocolate Gallery in Berlin.
