AJ Dimarucot lives in sunny Manila, Philippines. He was born in 1975 to two accountants who suggested he take up Engineering in college despite showing signs of being artistic as a child--"Because that's where the money is". So, he spent 8 years in college to become an Industrial Engineer. The last three years pretending to go to school while learning Photoshop 4 from the book "Photoshop 4 for Dummies!." That's when he decided to drop out to become a full-time designer. He has since worked as a web designer at a startup, an Art Director at the global ad agency Ogilvy, freelanced for brands like Nike to Microsoft over the last 12 years. He loves basketball and spends most of his time with his wife and 3 kids.
