Profile
Alonso Guzmán Barone is a Peruvian–Italian illustrator working on magazines, poster production & digital media. His illustrations have always shown a combination of his passions: the 80's, sports, space, music and women. He has an incessant obsession with details and his ambition since he was little has always been to produce work that combine these details with narratives. He studied advertising, but focused his career development on design and digital media. He always kept drawing people and scribbling in his notebooks, often in a mocking way. After university and while working in the design and advertising industry, he ventured into a self-taught training focused on digital art and graphics, going through different stages, including an initial focus on capturing expressions and gestures in portraits and culminating in a more formal and conceptual training through courses taught by the School of Visual Arts (New York).
