Tim Stead is a highly acclaimed Author and Award Winning Illustrator, who lives and works in Silloth, Cumbria. He began studying Graphic Design at Cumbria College of Art and Design and went on to study Illustration and Graphic Design at DeMontford University Tim has won the Cromarty History Society competition to illustrate a childrens book that was about Sir Thomas Urqhuart. Tim has also written and illustrated his own children's books 'So, you ran in the wash', Harry & the Butter Bye-Bye, "Ted needs some Space!", Count Coffins Cough!, Pims Pims Christmas list, Fat Bat & The Strange Woolly Hat, Dinoshakes and Bellyaches!! and also Hanging with The KOOL SQUIDS He has illustrated for the Steady Eddie fanzine magazine with Eddie Stobarts. Tim has also collaborated with award winning stand up comic Phil Walker to bring to life his debut children's book The Snots. His latest book project has been a collaboration with the well being group for children's confidence/resilience/attitude and to inspire, U Can Shine UK. Where Tim has produced illustrations for the book explaining about the COVID epidemic and how it effected children, but also celebrates the bravery of children through the pandemic that effected us all.
