Profile
Hello! I’m Jacqueline, an illustrator originally hailing from Philadelphia. I currently live and work in the San Francisco Bay Area, specifically in the East Bay, amongst the hills and wild turkeys. My illustration method begins with sketches on paper, and then I move on to digital software. For murals, the process has been from hand-drawn, to digital, and then to analog again, ending with painting the mural using traditional tools. I previously worked as a front-end developer, and for the past several years I’ve been a freelance illustrator. In my software development days, I worked at IDEO, R/GA, MTV, and other companies. As a software artist, I spent two years at an artist residency at Fabrica, in Italy, and was involved in numerous workshops and exhibitions. I received my BA in Studio Arts from the University of Pittsburgh, and an MFA in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design.
