Born in Rzeszów, Poland (1991) and currently living in Chicago, IL, Anna earned her BFA from the School of the Art Institute in 2019. She works across painting & drawing, animation, illustration, poetry, design, and multiples. Her work strives to capture a whimsical spirit that aims to uplift, provoke thought, and instill wonder in the viewer. Largely impacted by her immigrant upbringing and experiences, Anna describes her artistic practice as an ongoing exploration of mystery, hope, humor, and beauty. She has done illustration and design work for musicians as well as various creative non-profits. Her paintings have been on display at the Chicago Public Library and have been exhibited locally in Chicago, within the United States, and in Italy. In 2018, she participated in an artist residency in Italy, culminating in an artist talk at the The Stazione dell’ Arte Contemporary Art Museum in Ulassai and an exhibit in Sardinia.
