Mary is an illustrator and visual artist in between London, UK and Lagos, Nigeria. Her favourite subjects includes people, fashion, plants, flowers and interesting objects. She is passionate about telling stories of women, especially black women as bold and powerful in her narratives. Her art are sometimes based on personal experiences, feelings, other times it’s about her bold characters. Mary’s work explores the theme of rest, womanhood, culture, love and self-love, capturing her characters moods and experiences.
