Profile

I’ve found engagement in working with both traditional and digital collage, particularly creating characters and placing them in situations and environments that result in a sense of fun and pleasantry. Through my background in studying design and illustration, I found myself especially drawn to working on projects that involve book cover design and more comprehensive book projects, such as children’s books and the uniquely fun results that can come about in this genre. Additionally, I enjoy taking that same core approach to my works with product and package design. My works so far have won in an international design competition (World Illustration Awards) in book cover category, as well as highly commended in packaging design category in the same competition. Additionally, my project was shortlisted in a children's book competition held by a publishing company Samokat. I live and work from Pasadena, California. I spend my time browsing shelves in bookshops for well-designed covers that capture my imagination, curling up with cozy mystery books (and most other genres!), playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends and family, and going out to play tennis (when the California sun isn’t too overbearing).
