Profile

Anna fell in love with drawing at an early age, often concentrating on her favorite subject, her little schnauzer. Developing her skills and artistic sensibilities while training as a traditional painter, the great American illustrators Howard Pyle and N.C. Wyeth quickly became her influences. She found that book illustration suited her well. Through the years she has received over four hundred cover commissions of various genres for many of the major publishers. Her dedication to creating beautiful and interesting illustrations with harmonic color schemes and poetic sensibilities remains at the heart of her work. Anna also exhibits work as a landscape and portrait painter.
