Lynette and James are the creators of the Flossy and Jim brand. The brand was named after the couples childhood nicknames. The creative couple live by the sea in beautiful Brixham, South Devon. The couple are inspired by the colourful fishermen's cottages and the noisy chip-stealing seagulls. With degrees in illustration, the couple are bursting with ideas and overflowing with creativity! Flossy and Jim describe their style as sunny, fun, bold and colourful...and a little bit like they have eaten too many sweets. The illustrators started trading as 'Flossy and Jim Ltd' in May 2013, where they built an extensive portfolio of work, featuring in Heat magazine, ASOS, Warehouse, Accessorize and MTV with app illustrations. The business has been commissioned globally for rebranding projects, educational tools, character development, food packaging and children's book illustrations. The Flossy and Jim designs have also been licensed for use on Boomf Marshmallows, a lock screen app, computer games, clothing, giftware, children's books, digital stickers and emojis. The designs are also available on clothing selling worldwide online via Amazon, eBay, Walmart and now also in Sears. The Flossy and Jim brand have won many awards including the Excellence Award for 'Best New Business', 'Best Business Blog' at the TorbayHour Social Media Awards, and the prestigious Devon Venus Awards for 'Customer Service'. As part of the company's mission to make the world a sunnier place, Flossy and Jim are really pleased to be able to support and sponsor Circus Starr for disadvantaged children. Every year the organisation provides over £1.3 million worth of free tickets to children, their families and community groups throughout the UK.
