With the theme of 'Heroes' I decided to create this piece inspired by and for the people who are committed to protecting our oceans; preserving our forests; nurturing our lands; cleaning our air and saving our endangered species

Unpsychology Magazine

Front cover illustration for Unpsychology Magazine Issue 3 - The Childhood Edition. I also produced a series of illustrations responding to specific written pieces and quotes within the magazine. Unpsychology magazine responds to themes of psychology, soul-making, ecology and ‘wild mind’.

Biography

Ruth is an illustrator, designer and children's writer based in Bath. She has published three picture books as well as created book cover design/illustration work for a non-fiction title and YA fiction novel as well as the internal illustrations for 'Soul manifestos and Pieces of Joy'. Recently her work was chosen to be used as the front cover artwork for a literary magazine called Severine and she illustrated the entire third issue of Unpsychology magazine including cover design for the main magazine and digital poetry supplement and a series of internal illustrations which responded to specific written pieces, poetry and quotes.She loves to play with colour, bold graphics and minimalist layouts to create beautiful pieces that make people smile.
