I live in leafy South West London with my husband and two kids who are a constant source of inspiration to me. I love drawing, telling stories, writing poetry and observing how ideas can untangle themselves and slowly filter down into a tiny battered sketchbook (more battered the better in my opinion). We would love a real pet but for the moment we have our hands full with our invisible Dachshund called Ketchup and 3 stick insects (which take up a lot of room). I have always been interested in all things creative especially making art. I studied a BA in Graphic Design & Illustration at Bath School of Art & Design. There I created two children’s picture books one of which was Highly commended in The MacMillan Book prize 1999. After Uni I worked as an illustrator for Le Temps in Switzerland before returning to the UK to work as a Designer for Sony Music. Now I am a Freelance Illustrator and Designer and love the variety and fun that brings to my life.
