About The BOI™? Let’s spell it out. Bags Of Illustrations™: BOI™ Speaks Up, Illustrates The Point™, Draws The Line™. With handcrafted miniature drawings, BOI™ portrays the profundity or humor of a pictorial narrative. In barren fields, on white cartridge paper, black Staedtler pigment liners duel, sketch and etch, begin the point of telling story tales. Ideas. Set. Sail. As images change, take shape, souls are brought to life, transcend each earthly human touch, no rush, transition to a rainbow palette realm. Online, BOI™ tries to take the helm, so far, all efforts underwhelm. BOI™ persists, published wares displayed; the hope, a name, a world of shows, who knows, artistic sales, exhibits. Alas, scanned print, run on, life in color collage framed; gallery stills, sealed, bound, contained, this quest of mine remained. Political cartoons, all manner of daily strife, laced with comic flair, let’s whistle blow, shake the globe, my dear. Jhana Ruth Marc-Peterkin graduated from the London College of Communication, University of the Arts London, formerly the London College of Printing, with an MA in Screenwriting and a BA (Hons) in Publishing. ‘An Analysis of The Success of Ebony Magazine’, the publication founded by John H. Johnson of the Johnson Publishing Company, was the title of Jhana’s 2003 BA dissertation. For the final year of her MA Screenwriting studies, Jhana wrote a drama feature film screenplay titled ‘Broken’. Towards the end of her MA Screenwriting course, Jhana’s 30-second script, ‘Absolutely Flawless’, for the Ford Fiesta car, was selected to be filmed as part of the ‘Kodak Student Commercial Awards 2009’. The shoot took place at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, ‘H Stage’. Briefs for the competition were supplied by Ogilvy UK and Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH). Jhana, ‘The Girl With The “Harry Potter” Scar’ (since the aged of one), was born on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia on the 7th day, in the same month as Tom Marvolo Riddle, in a valley whose Amerindian name is said to have conjured evil spirits.
