Born in 1974 in Nantes, France, Gerald grew up in nine different cities around the land of cheese, wearing as many shoes as his shoesellers parents sold. Having to adapt to a new school in every city, he developed his observation and drawing skills to make new friends, inspired by the landscapes as well as the many different and bizarre people he met along the road. He graduated from the National School of Applied Art (also called Olivier de Serres). In 1998 Gerald's creativity blossomed at a webdesign company, an event studio, a video-games studio, and then several animations studios. His portfolio includes clients such as Vivendi Universal Publishing, Excelsior, Bayard Press, Prisma Press, Futurikon, Alphanim and Xilam Animations. He lives in Paris with his wife Sophie and their daughter Lisa.
