Jon has carved out a often stable career producing poster style art for a great variety of clients.Jon spent his early career as a graphic designer for local Ad agencies, working on his airbrush illustration style on the side. In 1990 he placed an ad in The Workbook that brought in clients from all across the country. In 1996 he first became interested in the idea of painting without breathing paint and began his first digital illustrations using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Now all his work is done digitally and sent to clients all over the country. The focus of his inspiration mostly comes from populist art from the first half of the 20th century. Including everything from matchbooks and packaging to the posters of the WPA, Tom Purvis, and Joseph Binder. Recent projects include Official player art for the 2011 NHL Heritage Classic, Official player art for the 2011 and 2010 World Series, and Official theme art for the 2011 US Open.
