Biography

I am always attracted to the light in a landscape, often just looking out at the alpenglow outside our home office window, or the variations of light in the trees during the different seasons offers many incentives for creating art. The wildlife around our home, whether big or small also provides continual reasons for study, illustration, and journaling. I work in a variety of traditional media: pencil, colored pencil, watercolor, acrylics, and also create digital paintings in Corel Painter X3.
