London Thunder

A piece I completed recently for the press release of the band 'Foals,' for their new album, 'What Went Down.' One on the songs on the album is titled London Thunder, hence the background. The piece also appeared in Mojo Magazine for the interview with the band.

A piece based on Alfred Hitchcock's 1954 classic 'Rear Window.' Inspired from the scene when Lars Thorwald confronts the protagonist, Jeff. At this point Jeff has just accused Thorwald of murdering his own wife.

Biography

Mark is an Illustrator currently residing in Manchester, United Kingdom. Mark creates Illustrations based on briefs in both traditional Hand Drawn and Digital formats for Clients. He prefers using more controllable organic media like Pencils, Acrylic, Ink, Chalk building up layers of texture and color. He he has been specializing in Editorial Illustration, however his goal this year is to get a few more Publishing and Advertising Briefs. Even though he specializes in Illustration he studied in a Graphic Design environment, so he has created Logos, Branding, Packaging, T-Shirt Design and Layout design for clients recently. Please don't hesitate to contact Mark, he's available most of the time and is usually found in his studio working away with his trusty canine sidekick ‘Woody,’ the Labradoodle!
