Emma Latham is an Illustrator graduate at the University of Derby and have since enjoyed creating artwork for various projects including; phone apps, logos, promotional work for various childrens charities and book illustrations. Her Style consists of textures and found objects which are jiggled and pieced together to create atmospheric and enticing imagery. She has 2 main styles; the first is collage based and is tailored specifically towards the children’s book market. The characters that live within the pages of these stories are often deeply influenced by people, animals and childhood memories. The second caters for an older audience; extreme light and dark are used to convey layers of themes and messages. Her work has featured in the association of Illustrators 33rd and 35th annual publications: ‘Best in Contemporary Illustration’ .
