Mad Max Fury Road MCM Comic Con London

Alternative film poster for the Mad Max Fury Road Film, as chosen by Director George Miller. Taking inspiration from George Miller describing the film as a "western on wheels", my main goal was to make the image resemble an old western movie poster. Director George Miller even said he chose the image because it was "the most arresting and original"

Pescador

What started out as a concept for a beer label, soon developed into a print illustration which I think works pretty well. This outcome wasn't planned, but that's the beauty of personal work, the freedom to experiment.

Tea Break

For me, when I get an image in my head (no matter how random) and it won't go away, I go and create it. This was one of those random images.

Alien - Film Character

What started out as a self initiated project, quickly turned into a commissioned piece when I showcased some WIP shots online. A friend of an old client wanted to have this image as a print on their wall, I was only too happy to oblige. So not only was this a great image to work on, I got paid to do it as well!I have always liked the Alien films because they are awesome, so I got a real kick out of creating this piece.

Biography

I am an experienced watercolour artist, illustrator and designer, that likes to mix traditional with digital every so often. My inspiration for the creations you see, comes from a range of different things that I come across. From online blogs, books, being out and about, plus even my sometimes random imagination and humour come in to play. Since I started Brook Eleven, I have had the opportunity to have my art chosen by Director George Miller to promote the Mad Max Fury Road film at London MCM Comic Con, as part of a competition run by Warner Bros., MCM Comic Con, Photoshop Creative Magazine and Grapevine Digital, that was brilliant! Worked/collaborated with - The Prince's Trust, The NSPCC, British Airways, Coca Cola, Magners, Xbox, MCM Comic Con, Warner Bros. Grapevine Digital, Photoshop Creative.
