Profile

I am a freelance Illustrator based in Manchester. I predominately work in black and white using a variety of fine pens which enables me to capture a high level of intricate details within my drawings where I can create patterns with the dots and marks I make. My inspirations for creating my artwork are taken from the natural world as I grew up in the countryside surrounded by wildlife and flowers. The natural world is also full of so many amazing elements, which may take several views to be able see the intricate details such as the lines within the leaves. I like to capture the atmosphere and character of both animals and landscapes in my drawings as I feel that this is a very important and key aspect to what gives an image its meaning, where it transports the viewer to another place.
