Rippled American Flag Vector

illustration of This daffodil drawing is the same as the one rendered in Photoshop, but this rendering is vector-based gradient mesh objects. This one is not meant to be as lifelike; this bloom is a bit more stylized. Shading with gradient mesh can produce a depth that rivals that of masking and rendering in Photoshop, but texture is needed to complete the effect in some cases. Which rendering methods are used ultimately depends on the desired look.
Next illustration of The airbrush was drawn conventionally and rendered in Photoshop. The paint splashing out of that type of airbrush cup is a bit of a stretch, as it would not look exactly like that. However, the visual suggestion here is kind of wild and free and tells us that anything is possible. Originally created as a self-promotion piece, it is a old favorite, and it is still hauled on occasion: the illustration, not so much the actual airbrush itself.
