illustration of Graphic Design category runner-up in Creative Quarterly's #58. This one was based on the Mayan corn god, Hun Hunahpuh. I had him coming out of, what's supposed to be a pyramid of corn in the same vein as David walking through the door in 2001: A Space Odyssey. I actually only had a day to kick this out but I think it came together great in the short time given.
