Halloween Witch

illustration of Dwarfs vs Orcs is a battle scene I designed for a series of Fantasy prints. The artwork/painting is a mixed media painting that began with a pencil drawing followed by a ink rendering. The final ink drawing was then finalized as a marker comp and scanned in for a digital composition using a mixed media painting for the background. The artwork also appears in a trading card set I self published.
Next illustration of I was commissioned by Chef Ali to create a logo of him for use on his branded products. He wanted a conventional portrait done using paint-I selected watercolor. We sat together a few times as I sketched and designed logos. We discussed in great detail what made his products unique. Fresh vegetables from around the globe, some I was not familiar with. Once a layout was excepted, I used snapshots of the chef and found reference photos along with photos I shot at the local farmers market.
