Mark Levine Studio

Cat Portrait, is a commissioned piece of "Peaches", a beloved pet who died of old age related issues. I portrayed the elderly cat as he appeared in a handful of photos supplied to me as reference. I wanted to capture "Peaches", his stamina and the golden years captured in the photos. I selected Nu-pastel as my medium, her using a stylized drawing method I can portray his age and likeness.
