Bighorn sheep Ovis canadensis. One of a series of stippled pen and ink illustrations used in a paper on Biomimetics. Examples from nature being imitated in human technological applications. In this case, the concept was "crushing", and the Bighorn sheep uses its horns to deliver crushing blows in battles for mates.
