Drawing of Matt Damon for the cover of GQ Korea. The drawing was based on a combination of two unpublished images taken during the photoshoot for the magazine's cover story. The drawing was done in pencil, then scanned and altered digitally to increase the contrast and density of the line. Since the art director decided to use bold black and white on the cover, I incorporated areas of solid black within the drawing (tie, shoes, folds) to create a balance with the heavy lettering.

'Stinky and his mate' is a newly released children's book written by Rik Carpenter and illustrated by Peter Hudspith. The book is and is a very engaging story about the life cycle of flies. Written in rhyme the story chronicles in thirty-one chapters the various trials and tribulations a common fly goes through from birth to death. The story has a lot of humour as well as pathos and should make the reader sympathise with the common plight of those little critters.

Jitesh Patel

Bespoke packaging for Indian teas? Look no further, this melting pot of two cultures was the perfect job for Jitesh Patel. His richly ornate work is inspired by his Indian heritage combined with an English upbringing. He has illustrated 4 maps for this luxury brand, offering regional tea growing in Assam, Nilgiri, Kangra and Darjeeling. With his beautiful pen line and detailed style, Jitesh has created a product that will want to keep, even when tea time is over.
