Wine Label Illustrations

I designed and illustrated nine wine labels for Sakonnet Vineyard, an award-winning vineyard in Little Compton, RI. The goal was to create colorful, highly-detailed, eye-catching labels that would entice new shoppers to try the brand. These labels were very successful; the vineyard now produces these images on wine charms, and displays them large-scale in their tasting room.

Matt Damon cover

Previous Image Title

Joe McKendry

Drawing of Matt Damon for the cover of GQ Korea. The drawing was based on a combination of two unpublished images taken during the photoshoot for the magazine's cover story. The drawing was done in pencil, then scanned and altered digitally to increase the contrast and density of the line. Since the art director decided to use bold black and white on the cover, I incorporated areas of solid black within the drawing (tie, shoes, folds) to create a balance with the heavy lettering.
