The logo is hand-lettered to emphasise the independent spirit of the business and the artisanal nature its products.
The job also included character designs and four badges, which included the character illustrations. Later we used the badges and characters to create posters, shipping packaging and various merchandise products including t-shirts, beer glasses, coasters, cooler bags, totes, etc.

To make a cut paper, holiday illustration about a backstage romance brings together all of my experiences as an artist, including my 20+ years working as a set and costume designer for television and theater. I live for moments of synergy like this project; and it was a blast from beginning to end— a real tornado of a schedule that jumpstarted my own holiday season. This one's also already been recognized by Society of Illustrators 64 which is icing on the gingerbread.

This editorial illustration was commissioned by The Collective Mag to accompany an article discussing acne and feelings of inadequacy in the digital age. The illustration and article aim to lift some of the stigma surrounding acne, myth-busting common misconceptions that people hold concerning the skin disorder and encouraging those who live with it to embrace their skin and believe in yourself.

The Tunnelers—a badger, a groundhog, several worms, and other assorted critters—are all travelers or makers of subterranean passageways.
A pedestrian underpass seems like a natural place for them to be commuting through, while the commute, in itself, is the magical equalizer of the suburbs. Whatever our pecking order or business, even the hungry owls and tempting moles have to tolerate each other while in transit.

Peyton is passing the torch....er...the football to Tom in celebration of this sports achievement while Brett Favre and Drew Brees look on. Richard Wilkinson’s striking illustrations denounce the abuses of humans on the ecosystem. A group of wonderful Neo-natal Intensive Care nurses at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto commissioned me to do a portrait of a family, who after receiving superlative care at St. Mike's for their premature infant, gave back by creating a fundraising event called Malachy's Soiree which raised more than $450K in its first year for the NICU at St. Michael's Hospital. The framed painting was presented at the fundraiser.

Love Creative commissioned the award-winning artist Steven Noble to create the label illustration. His scratchboard style was perfect for a story of obsession. Steven uses this engraving technique to create precise, highly detailed images. With scratchboard, as with the pursuit of perfection in gin, the artist gradually carves away the dark to reveal the light.
