Léane Ruggli is a Swiss illustrator specialising in advertising, commercial, and editorial illustration. She is the ‘New Talent – Overall Winner’ of the World Illustration Awards 2025. Her work is defined by vibrant, colourful palettes and playful compositions that experiment with shapes, textures, and hand lettering. With a strong foundation in graphic design, which she studied and continues to draw inspiration from, Léane brings a refined sense of composition, typography, and visual balance to her illustrations. Guided by her love for bold shapes and inspired by fashion and sports, she creates lifestyle-driven imagery focusing on people, wildlife, nature, clothing, and movement. She enjoys the creative challenge of working with limited colour palettes while crafting dynamic, intertwined compositions. Currently, Léane is keen on expanding her practice towards packaging and branding, where her graphic sensibility and distinctive illustrative voice can bring visual storytelling to new forms and contexts.
