Profile

Julia is a Vienna based illustrator and hand lettering artist with a passion for design and packaging concepts. In her earlier years as an art director for food and other brands, she conceived visual worlds and coherent product ranges that attracted their audiences. Today, she applies this knowledge to her artwork to bring brands to life with bold illustrations, playful lettering and vibrant colors. With her interest in the essence and life stories of people, as well as her enthusiasm for music and entertainment, she also works for editorial, contributing caricatures, stylized portraits or lettering titles. Julia's work has been recognized by Communication Arts, American Illustration, 3x3 Magazine, Lürzers Archive and Creative Quarterly. She has worked with a wide variety of clients like The Kennedy Center, Rolling Stone Germany, Jumbo Supermarket or The Austrian Academy of Sciences.
