Illustrator and art director, Raid71, also known by his alter ego Chris Thornley, always wanted to draw comics. He spent 6 years studying Art and Design, inspired by Alan Moore and Grant Morrison, before realising his dream career as a full time graphic designer and illustrator. His retro illustration style, classic take and detailed line work has charmed lifestyle brands such as GAP, Lynx, ESPN, Gola, NME, Dennis Publishing, Hearst Magazines, CBS Films, Levis, Threadless, Mercury records, MacUser, Mercedes-Benz, Fortean Times, Hasbro, and X-Games.
