Lucía Cordero is an illustrator and graphic designer from Madrid, based in Berlin. She studied design at Complutense University of Madrid where she and eleven friends founded Guts Collective and that’s when she got interested in illustration. Since she was 15 years she is been attending to many concerts, so a lot of her work is focused on music, she made the design of the main stage at Sonorama Ribera, and designs for bands like Courtney Barnett, Hinds, The Parrots and Juan Wauters among others. Her work it’s very colourful, funky, detailed, fun and ironic. She is currently working at Ellery Studio as their in-house illustrator where she and her team won four Malofiej Awards and one European Design Award. At the same time she does freelance projects, paints and goes to as many gigs as possible.
