Bek is an illustrator based in Hampshire, 50 miles west of London, UK. She has an extensive working background in illustrated map design and cartography. Bek started working freelance in 2011 and since has worked with a variety of clients such as Edwardian Hotels, The National Trust, The Guardian, Lands' End Clothing, Atlanta Magazine and The Balmoral Estate as well as many editorial publications. Illustrated maps designed by Bek have been featured in 'Londonist Mapped' and 'Londonist Drinks: A Spirited Guide to London Libation' both by AA Publishing & Londonist', 'They Draw & Travel: 96 Illustrated Maps from the UK and Iceland', as well as 'The Inn Keeper of Ivy Hill' and 'The Bridge to Belle Island' both by Julie Klassen and published by the Baker Publishing Group. When I'm she's not working on client commissions Bek creates and sell a range of unique prints and cards through her online shop. Beks popular Illustrated map of the British Isles is also sold as a wooden Jigsaw by Artifact Puzzles in the USA.
