Lynne lives and works as an illustrator in New York City and is noted for her distinct portraits. “The focus of my illustration is on the “Conceptual Portrait” where idea and form convergeIt is where I translate raw emotion into a visual image, thus able to enlighten, amuse, or sometimes even disturb”. Clients include The Red Betty Theatre, Cincinnati Magazine, Delaware Today Magazine, Congregations, and The Museum of Natural History. She is a monthly contributor to the Brooklyn based newspaper The Indypendent . Her solo show in Kuala Lumpar Malaysia entitled “And then Comes a Dream” presented a diverse universe to the Malaysian community. She presently in a group show at the University of Malaya. Her illustration “IF I WAS MADE OF CAKE I'd eat myself before someone else could" has recently been accepted into the Society of Illustrators LA Annual show. She received her BFA from Pratt Institute and her MFA from School of Visual Arts in the “Illustration as Visual Essay” program”. She is also a professor at Pratt Institute. and City College in NYC.
