He's a synthesizer-mad lad, so the illustration includes favourites of his: the Roland 303 and 808. Plus, there are knobs, volume sliders, buttons and symbols from other synths: 'The Cat - Octave', the Roland TR-909 and SH-101. 

He's also a dad, so the family are included with the little one holding onto a teddy.

This issue's big report examined that while there may be greater sensitivity around mental health issues, much popular reporting still conflates mental illness with criminality.

In the article, writer Radhika Holmström points out that we prefer pigeon-holing complex mental health issues as our minds are very simplistic. This sparked the lead image idea and was a useful steer away from causing any offensive in depicting people dealing with health issues.
