Rita Tu is an ordinary person who dresses like a plastic bag and cannot stop collecting stuff. She finds and gathers textures from paper and innovative tools from the garbage. She loves exploring ideas from her life and experimenting with different methods or materials to tell the story in an expressive way. Usually, she combines hand-drawn elements with Photoshop to create her works to maintain the beauty of hand-drawings with the flexibility of digital arts. She is enthusiastic about animating her illustrations and thinks motion is another language for artworks to express feelings and thoughts to the viewer. Both her illustrations and motion works have won awards from the Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, 3X3, Communication Arts, International Motion Art Awards and The Young Ones ADC.
