Profile
Brad studied fine art and photography at State University of New York, College at New Paltz, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Arts (1976). After college he began his career by working in film labs in upstate NY where he rapidly learned the art of traditional photo retouching. In the early 80s he moved to the Big Apple where he worked for several years as a freelance photographer's assistant. Here he gained valuable experience assisting some of the top studio photographers in the heart of NYC's Photo District. In the early 90s Brad learned Adobe Photoshop and transitioned over to digital illustration. Since 2010 Brad has had his own business where he utilizes all of his previous training in fine art, photography, retouching, and even traditional sculpting to create fantasy and Sci-Fi illustrations for books covers, music albums, toy and gaming products, and to create matte paintings for feature films and commercials..
