Profile

I'm an illustrator and printmaker working in linocut and mixed media. I specialise in historical, food and natural world illustration, but am interested in other areas too! I work traditionally, but when speed is needed I will often compile hand printed layers digitally to ensure deadlines are always met. Roughs start out in my sketchbook, before moving to Procreate for colour/layer planning and are finally transferred to traditional artist's lino for cutting and printing (oils for original prints, water-based for commissions as the ink dries faster). I'm always happy to discuss any project needs and queries to help you find the best solution.
