Profile

Margarita Louka is an illustrator from Cyprus currently based in Dubai, UAE. She graduated in 2021 from the MA Illustration and Book Arts course at Cambridge School of Art, Anglia Ruskin University. She explores the themes of migration, (de)colonization, physical or emotional journeys, what it means to ‘belong’ to a place and the unreliability of memory. She also enjoys exploring the intersection of abstract and figurative illustration through digital collage.
