Profile

My name is Genaro and I am a freelance Illustrator and Designer originally from Mexico City with a first class degree in Illustration from the University of West England. My career started with a love of drawing and graphics and I pursued a career as a Tattooist in Mexico City. When I moved to the UK I discovered my love for illustration and visual communication. I work predominantly with traditional materials such as Posca pens, watercolours, coloured pencils, gouache, combining the layers digitally to create a final image. I take inspiration from my surroundings and Mexican culture. I have a love for editorial illustration and I like to create distinctive and powerful images full of colour.
