Profile

Nicole is a freelance illustrator based in Texas. She graduated from the University of Houston in 2022 with a B.F.A. in Painting. Afterwards, she returned to her passion for illustrating and began creating mock book covers and posters inspired by her favorite musicians. Finding the work fulfilling, she participated in the 2023 Scholastic Art Mentorship Program to further refine her book cover illustration skills. Since then, she has been commissioned by self-published authors for cover work and hopes to continue helping writers bring their ideas to life. Her work often features figures in simple but whimsical natural environments, plenty of fluffy clouds, and a generous use of blue. Her main artistic influences include a variety of illustrators and video games, and most of her personal work is inspired by her daydreams, favorite musical artists, and entertainment media.
