Anna Daviscourt is a children’s book author/illustrator and nerdy dog lover from Portland, OR. She grew up in an artistic household and after graduating from the Art Institute of Portland, began working as a concept artist for video games. After five years, she decided to make a change and begin her career in children’s publishing. She was selected for the Adobe Creative Residency in 2018 and has continually created new work and stories ever since. She seeks to spread positive messages and represent diverse groups through her work. Between writing and illustrating books, she teaches online at SVSlearn.com and at local art schools. She also enjoys speaking and teaching workshops at various events and plans to attend several art conventions in the future.
