Profile

Joy Li is an illustrator living in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. Her inspiration comes from everyday life. Using visual language to record her living experience and stories happening around her helps to fuel her creative works. She loves animals, hiking, reading, and exploring the newest food offerings in Toronto. She attended universities in both China and Canada. These multinational educational experiences helped her improve skills in art, design and creativity. Joy worked as a graphic designer and website designer for a few years before starting her illustration career. She has experience with editorial illustration, motion graphic design and picture books. Her works have been featured in The San Franciscan, The Art of Eating, Event Magazine, and Shameless Magazine among others. Additional she has worked on motion graphic design projects for Bounty, Sony, and boost-infinite.
